5 Ingredient Simple Cornbread Recipe
A super simple recipe for 5 ingredient cornbread that is tender, flavorful and has the right "crumb". Great corn flavor without being dry.

Ingredients

pkg.
Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
3
eggs
¾
cup
buttermilk
½
cup
sour cream
¼
cup
salted butter
melted
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400℉. Grease a 9x9 pan or 9 Inch round pan with oil or non-stick spray.
In a large bowl whisk together the wet ingredients, making sure the eggs and sour cream are whisked in completely.
3 eggs,
¾ cup buttermilk,
½ cup sour cream,
¼ cup salted butter
Add the Jiffy mixes and stir in completely. It's ok if there are a few small lumps in the batter.
2 pkg. Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Let cool and then cut into 9 pieces (3x3). Excellent served with
honey butter!
Storing
Keep leftover 5 Ingredient Cornbread at room temp in a covered container, or cover the 9x9 pan with plastic wrap or foil.
